Mayors Wellness Campaign

The New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute has awarded the Borough of Glen Rock the Healthy Town to Watch designation for its work in the Mayors Wellness Campaign in 2022.

The Mayors Wellness Campaign is a statewide initiative that encourages improved health and wellness across New Jersey communities. Glen Rock has instituted programming for community members of all ages, including Glen Rock Walkers, Health Checks, and Senior Fest.

“I am proud of the Borough of Glen Rock for being recognized by the Quality Institute as a 2022 Healthy Town to Watch," said Mayor Kristine Morieko. “Our Mayors Wellness Committee's mission is to improve the health and wellness of our residents. When we create healthy habits, we create new possibilities to enjoy life. Working with our community partners, we'll strive to provide programs and events for all our residents to empower them to improve health outcomes in Glen Rock.”

Glen Rock’s Mayor and Council will continue delivering health and wellness programming to residents in the coming year.
